Passes & memberships

Passes are for the cardholder only (except the group pass). You'll need to set up a member profile and enter with an EasyCard or the TAIPEI PASS app. Cardholders get 20% off private lessons.

Does a pass pay off? Divide the pass price by the single-visit fare to see how many visits you need to break even, then compare that with how often you actually skate. A pass only makes sense if you go regularly every week; if you skate just occasionally, single tickets work out cheaper.

Common questions

How much are ice skating lessons at Taipei Arena?

Private lessons are sold as 4-session packages: a weekday one-on-one is NT$3,400 with a standard coach, or NT$5,200 with a national-team coach; on weekends it is NT$3,800 and NT$5,600. Smaller per-person rates apply to groups. Group classes are NT$1,800–2,200 for 4 weekday sessions, or NT$2,200–2,600 on weekends. All fees include skate rental and full protective gear.

Are there passes or memberships?

Yes. Regular passes come as 20 visits (NT$2,500), 30 visits (NT$3,000), or unlimited with no per-visit time limit (NT$4,000), each valid 3 months. There is also a study pass (NT$7,000, 3 months) for unlimited group-class booking, and a shareable group pass (NT$3,000 for 10 entries). Cardholders get 20% off private lessons.

Can I leave and come back on the same visit?

Yes. Regular and study passes allow same-day re-entry, so you can rest in the stands, grab a snack, or even put on blade guards and step out to buy a hot meal before getting back on the ice. The 20- and 30-visit passes count 2 hours per entry with re-entry allowed within that time (overtime NT$45 per 30 minutes); the NT$4,000 unlimited pass and NT$7,000 study pass have no count or time limit.

How far ahead do I book, and can I try a single session?

It depends on the class. For your first private lesson, register 7 working days ahead by phone or at the counter so a coach can be matched. Group classes are by reservation: booking opens on the 20th of each month for the following month and closes by 19:00 the day before. To try one session before committing to a package, both tables list a single-session price, for example NT$600 for a weekday 6–10 person private session, or NT$540 for a weekday Skating Basics group class. To cancel, tell your coach and the counter for private lessons, or cancel at least 3 hours before the start for group classes.
